caitlin and leah are two of my very best friends. caitlin just moved to la from ny, which is ridiculous. but, she'll be happier there most likely. quality of life is something we've been talking about more. its pretty basic shit that you forget about that really makes a difference: produce, gardens, easy access to the water, weather.

i just want to tell everyone that blogging is fucking tedious. i'm spending way too much time trying to resize fotos. IS THERE A BETTER WAY? ughh... .

the calm before the storm.....

we stayed in L.A. for 10 days. i have schizophrenic feelings about los angeles. one moment i'm completely in love with it; i love driving at night on the fwy through downtown when its hot out and there's good radio on. i love my families house. i love the wierdness of la and all the dives you can end up at. My dad and I went to whats called "junkyard row" to get a light for my car. That place was one of the wierdest I've been to in la.. and as a kid i had to go with my dad all over to wierd places and wait in the car while he managed one of his hundreds of businesses. no pictures tho... the junkyard dudes like to be discreet.
we went to one of the prettiest beaches i've been to in la... mercedes took us through this crazy route through the valley, into woodland hills, and thru the mountains to a place called point dume. you hike down into it and the water was perfect..........pinkberry is pinche delicious. get some.
